1 Peter 4:11 reads, "If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen." The goal of Anchored In the Word of God  is to give Bible based teachings and only Bible based teaching. God's Word is the standard for judgment (John 12:48), and tells us how to live (2 Timothy 3:16-17). There is nothing we need for life and godliness that God does not give us in His Word (2 Peter 1:3).  

Growing up with his father serving as a preacher, Micah Webb developed a desire to preach from an early age. There are many photos of Micah as a young boy holding a Bible and songbook, pretending to lead singing and preach. That early interest matured into active service when, at sixteen years of age, Micah preached his first gospel sermon at the Beulah Church of Christ.

Following his senior year of high school, Micah did a summer preaching work with the Pepper Road Church of Christ. The following summer, he did another summer preaching work with the 84th Street Church of Christ. During the final years of getting his college degree, Micah preached once each month at the Northside Church of Christ, where his father serves as preacher.

After completing college, Micah worked for one year with Donnie Rader at the El Bethel Church of Christ. Since February 2022, Micah has served as the full-time evangelist for the Middlebourne Church of Christ, where he continues his work in preaching and teaching the gospel.
